This policy explains what information Permit Gossip collects, why we collect it, and who we share it with. Permit Gossip is run by James Schnitzius, a sole proprietor.
Our alerts contain information from public building-permit records, which can include property addresses, contractor names, and project details. That information is already published by government offices. If you think a record about you is wrong, contact the office that issued it. You can also email us to ask that we leave it out of future alerts.
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Permit Gossip: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (website hosting and storage), and our email providers (to deliver email). We also share it when the law requires.
We keep your information while you have an account and for as long as we need it afterward for taxes, accounting, or legal reasons. You can ask us to delete it sooner, and we will unless we're legally required to keep it.
You can unsubscribe from any email using the link in it. You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information by sending us a message through our contact form.
We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure.
Permit Gossip is a business service and isn't meant for anyone under 18.
If we make a material change to this policy, we'll update the date above and email active subscribers.
